Juha Kankkunen, Fastest man on ice


His aim was to break the previous world record of 296 kilometres per hour, and at the same time to exceed 200 miles per hour. He achieved his primary goal, but couldn´t reach the other, even though he was very close. The world record on an ice course is now 321.65 kilometres per hour or 199.86 miles per hour! Juha´s top speed was 331 kilometres per hour. Juha´s Bentley was equipped with Nokia Tires´ regular studded tires.
